Jael Kristen Davis
Jael Kristen Davis is the founder of Faith Steps and its Lead Facilitator. She is a Trinidad and Tobago-Based Clinical Psychologist, committed to promoting mental wellness, inspiring hope, and restoring dignity through faith and evidence-based care.
Her journey began in her teenage years after a life-changing encounter with a motivational speaker awakened something powerful within her – the belief that her voice, though quiet, could spark transformation in others. Despite her introverted nature, she sensed a clear call from God to become an encourager, one who could bring hope to those in despair, just as hope had once been brought to her.
This call led her to pursue studies in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, guided by her conviction that if she wants to inspire people, she must first understand people. Along the way, life’s circumstances deepened her reliance on faith and shaped her understanding that true healing must address both the soul and the mind.
Jael has worked extensively in clinical, community, and organizational settings, specializing in child and family mental health, psychological and psychoeducational assessments, and the design and delivery of impactful professional development and wellness programs. Her experience spans churches, schools, non-profits, government institutions, and private organizations throughout the Caribbean. At the heart of her work is a passion for demystifying mental health, sharing practical tools for healing, and creating safe spaces where individuals can grow, reset, and step boldly into their calling. Through Faith Steps, she continues to live out her mission: to promote hope, motivate change and walk alongside others in their journey to healing.
Beyond her professional work, she enjoys exploring new places and connecting with people from all walks of life, embracing every opportunity to meet others where they are, share God’s love, and point hearts to Jesus.
